DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE RESIDENCE

The Area:
The residence located in the XVeme (15^th arrondissement) is at the crossroad of the elegant 7^th and the residential and shopping district of the 15^th. Many tourist sights are within walking distance, as well as the convenience of the shopping area: grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, banks, a post office, retail stores… The area is lively yet safe and quiet.

The closest Metro station is XXx and it is one stop away from the Invalides RER station (which goes straight to Versailles in 25 minutes).

The Building:
Built in the late 19^th century, this Hausseman architecture is the most elegant of Paris: a beautifully carved stone building of six stories, with two residences per floor.

The entry is secured by a coded front door and a live-in concierge. Like many buildings of the era, it does not have an elevator, but instead a large staircase. The building also features a nice, quiet courtyard.

The Residence:
The property is located on the 4^th floor and benefits from a well designed floor plan. As you enter there is a large foyer with coat closet, opening to a nice kitchen, equipped with oven and cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and a coffee machine…

Then, the large living room with new hardwood floors is lighted by double windows, and has a dining room table with chairs. Tucked in a corner is also a Murphy bed which can accommodate two people (double size).

In the bedroom, you will find a king size bed with nightstands and a closet, a large windows opening onto the quiet courtyard. The new linens are a high quality thread count.

The elegant tiled bathroom has a standing closed shower, a sink and a toilet.

The whole residence is furnished with antiques, decorators’ quality and all the appliances are top of the line.

There is also a phone and high speed internet connection is available.

The Service:
Mr. Alexandre Arjalies is the bilingual Paris Manager who will meet you at your arrival time, help you with your luggage up the four flights of stairs, show you the residence, answer any questions you may have, and leave you the keys. He will also be available during the length of your stay if you need assistance, and will assist with check out by conducting a visual inspection of the premises and obtaining the keys.

Housecleaning is included in the price and always done prior to your arrival and after your departure. Gratuities are not expected, but welcome.

Pricing and Payment:
The residence is available between June 1^st 2004 and March 1^st, 2005.

There is a minimum four night stay. Short term (one week) and long term (one month or more) visits are welcome. Contact us for a price quote. The first payment of ½ the rental rate and the deposit is due at time of reservation, the balance payment is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.

We accept cash, USD or Euro checks and wire transfer.
