DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA
BURZET, ARDECHE
The Area:
Burzet is in Ardeche in the North of Provence. It is located 45 minutes away from the town of Aubenas, accessible by car and bus.
The Town:
Burzet is a charming rustic village with a population of about 1,000 residents. It features the convenience of grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, two bakeries, a butcher, a hair-dresser, doctors, a post office, etc… It is very well known for its 15th century church and "chemin de Croix".
There is a very nice river which crosses through the town and a wonderful park with lots of trees and a playground and tennis courts, all within minutes from the house. The river is ideal for fishing and swimming, and the plush country side offers a lot of opportunities for bicycling, hiking, berry picking etc…
The Villa:
It is the most beautiful in the town! Located on main street, the villa is a very nice two-story residence with 2,400 sq ft, three to four bedrooms, two full baths, two balconies, a large fenced in yard, and a two car garage.
The Main floor: You enter into the foyer with the first bathroom (toilet, bathtub and sink) at the end. On your left is the living room/dining room which has Italian marble floors, 14 foott ceilings, two French doors opening out to a balcony with a gorgeous view of the Valley, a TV, couches, chairs and a coffee table.
On the right of the entry, there is a playroom (that can be made into a bedroom upon request) which leads to the kitchen. Stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, sink, dishwasher and washing machine.
Second floor: There is a second entry to the street at the bottom of the stairs. Up the stairs you will find a toilet on the right and the second bathroom (bathtub and sink) on the left.
The first bedroom has a twin bed and a closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. There is another "sitting room" and a third bedroom with two twin size beds.
The Garden:
Ideal for relaxing or for the children to play safely, the garden is a good size, fenced in, with beautiful trees and flowers.
The house is spacious, comfortable, very sunny and has lots of storage. It is well situated in the town. If needed by the renter, each story has its own separate entrance with the option of locking doors in between the two stories.
2004 Prices:
$1,000 a week, $1,500 for two weeks, $2,500 for one month.
